I want to get rid of the lines which lay behind some objects. The idea is laser cut (by marking wood) the shapes in the first attached picture (image 1)
With the solid colours things look nice and clear, but when going to the outline view mode, we see the lines behind (image 2)
In the image 3 I show the lines I want to get rid of.
I can add nodes (never accurate, I am never right on the top of the line I need to cut) and then trim the lines. I could use boolean functions, but sometimes I have many parts.
Hi there,
I want to get rid of the lines which lay behind some objects. The idea is laser cut (by marking wood) the shapes in the first attached picture (image 1)

I can add nodes (never accurate, I am never right on the top of the line I need to cut) and then trim the lines. I could use boolean functions, but sometimes I have many parts.
I bet there is a way to do this directly
thanks!
The result should be this (done "dirtily" with paint)
Select all three rectangles then [Path > Flatten].
