Beyond the Basics Unsatisfied with the currenet side panels behavior

    Hi folks,

I do believe that I am bit late for this, anyway...

I remember that once you could collapse each "tab" of the side panels, and there was an hidden option (in preferences.xml) to show the icon instead of the label.

But now I realized that you can only collapse the the whole side panel, and this really annoys me because it tends to maximize the side panel that always, especially when you open a file, it takes 3/4 of the viewport.

Is there a way to switch to the old behavior, if not do you have any tips to improve the current situation?

    Thanks... 🙏

Annoying behavior that is targeted to be fixed in v1.5.

No work around in latest versions so I completely disabled "Save and restore dialog status". Good side effect of this is that your documents will load quicker.

You can change Labels behavior to "ACTIVE" or "OFF". That might help.

EDIT: Label behavior set to "Active" seems to be broken in v1.4.2. Never mind.

Thank you, this has improved a bit the experience.
