This is a panel that is to be inset filled in lightburn
The BR logo and number have been inverse masked so they effectively don't exist within the inset fill panel. This looks okay in Inkscape but when copied to Lightburn the inverse mask dissapears, in other words the panel is just a solid block of colour with no logo showing, The attached file shows the panel with inverse mask on top of two other coloured panels just to show that the logo has been cut out.
I don't have LB installed, so this is a guess... you are hoping for two color stripes with the logo and text cut out?
The screenshot appears to be a bit grey, so I'm wondering if the color stripes actually have a dark outline, and the dark area is actually black (outline overlay mode).
I'd try making the dark region a single path (which it may be already), then group the color stripes. Then use the dark region as a clipping object on the group (instead of using a mask).
I also found the 'Exclusion' tool useful Here is a photo of the body side cut out from 1mm mdf with the grey stripe filled in at 10% with the logo, word and number left raised

The question is as always, what am I doing wrong?

Hi Tyler,
Thanks for responding,
The two colours are just there to show that the logo has been cut out/removed/masked from the main body
although this cut out does not transfer to LB
Maybe this:

Brilliant, Thank you Tyler

Many thanks for the advice
