My other club in university, the Rock n' Roll club, had an open gig (not sure what that's called) at a venue in Taipei, where club members form different bands and each band plays 1 to 2 songs on stage. Obviously renting the venue for 4 hours with sound guys isn't cheap, so aside from finding sponsors, we decided to sell merch. This is one of the stickers I made for the event. Sadly I forgot to transform text into paths at the time (I was new to vector drawing programs), and the fonts was replaced by default ones on the printed sticker version. Lesson learned I guess! Fonts used: Noto Sans Display, Luxi Sans, Z003 (URW Chancery)
I'm in a club named "Open Design Club" in university. Since it was a new semester, I did a logo refresh with newly-picked colors as the main visual. We're a club mainly teaching and making art with Inkscape and other FOSS software. I'm also building a website at https://odesignc.com , which aims to be the most accurate Chinese FOSS art website. The site is currently in beta (as of 10-10-2023) but I hope to push out a first version by December 2023. Fonts used: JF Open Huninn (Open粉圓)
One night I was thinking about mashing avatars of people together to create a movie-like poster, and at the time we had a DIY cable-making event upcoming, so I made this mockup in Inkscape. It somehow became the final poster they decided on. Fonts used: Cinzel, Noto Serif CJK TC (SVG available upon request)
A poster I made in August 2023 for a welcome party in our church. Main lettering inspired by Cooper Black fonts, and tries to mimic the "round slab serif" look on Chinese characters. Fonts used: Linux Biolinum, Noto Serif. The image is a photo trace of my friend's face. (SVG available upon request)
A friend of mine recently had to create the main visual identity for an arts festival, named "Reverse Indicator", and I gave her my two cents on how it should look like. Made entirely in Inkscape. Fonts used: Nimbus Sans, Noto Sans CJK TC, Unifont. (SVG available upon request)
