Hello I'm having a problem with using the XP-Pen Artist 12 on Inkscape 1.0.2-2 (e86c870879, 2021-01-15) on Windows 10, .exe ver.
I am using multiple monitors since the Artist 12 is a tablet monitor.
As far as the problem, when I touch the stylus onto the tablet to try and do anything(like creating a shape or trying to select something), the result is offset down-left by about an inch away from where I'm pressing on the tablet. The mouse tracks correctly to the stylus and I wasn't able to replicate this problem in Windows Paint. The stylus also tracks correctly on the desktop.
I've calibrated the XP-Pen Artist 12 using the driver multiple times. Restarted the computer. Used the tablet as a single monitor.
Unless I'm using the search wrong, I wasn't able to find anything on this forum and nobody had any similar problems in my google searches.
Any help would be appreciated. I really like the features of this program.
Hi, sorry I can'tr answer the question, I have the exact same problem. I'm hoping somebody has solved this issue over the nearly year since you posted it and will kindly share the solution.
I think I had a similar problem with Photoshop with XP Pen. I addressed it by opening the Windows Screen Resolution Control Panel and making sure that the monitor I was working on was always positioned on the LEFT. That determined the size mapping and the Top Left corner of the mapping. Otherwise you can end up having both a SCALE and an OFFSET problem. I spoke to XPpen about it, but the XP person I exchanged messages with refused to do anything about it. Anyway. Switching the monitors around in the control panel completely solved the problem for me.
Note: If the two monitors are identical resolution, this workaround is probably not necessary.
