Beginners' Questions Why do my lines create "holes" after executing stroke to path?

    Hey all

I've had this issue for a while and can't figure out how to fix it without going to each individual spot and deleting the strange nodes. I've attached a before and after executing "stroke to path". Any help is greatly appreciated!

It's likely there are duplicated nodes at those areas.

It might also be helpful to show the path geometry when using the pen tool. The button on the end toggles on/off.

Thanks for the tip! Is there an easy way to get rid of duplicate nodes over many different paths or is this something that would need to be done individually?

    As usual, it depends.

I'd try Path>simplify, or the purge extension: https://stadtfabrikanten.org/display/IFM/Purge+Duplicate+Path+Nodes

I'll give that a shot. Thanks for your help!
