I recently had a logo made and was sent a .PNG with the white background still part of the file. How do I get rid of the white background and make it into a transparent background that is the size of the logo? If that makes sense. I'm sure there's an easy way but I'm missing it. Thanks!
Hey all,
I recently had a logo made and was sent a .PNG with the white background still part of the file. How do I get rid of the white background and make it into a transparent background that is the size of the logo? If that makes sense. I'm sure there's an easy way but I'm missing it. Thanks!
I'd auto-trace it.
Or apply a Duochrome filter: first color RGBA:0 second color A:100
Or Filters->Fill+Transparency->Light eraser
Or if you want to stay with PNG use GIMP to erase white color.
