I'm facing some challenges regarding the handling of JPEG format conversion and compression in Inkscape. Despite its historical reluctance to directly support JPEG files, I understand that recent updates include a Jpeg Raster exporter. However, I'm unsure about its effectiveness in preserving image quality, particularly with regards to artifacts and distortions in vector graphics. For that I was using [link removed by moderator] for compression it is good in compression but I need it through Inscape. So can someone provide insights into the effectiveness of this new exporter, including its process of rendering artwork into PNG before external conversion? Additionally, I'm concerned about the loss of transparency in the exported images.
