I am on the latest version of Inkscape (1.2.2) on Windows 10. When I try to snap text center to something else, e.g. rectangle center, it doesn't work, despite I have everything in the snap menu enabled. On all forums I found related to this topic, it tells me to enable snapping. The weird thing is, on another device (PC) text snaps perfectly (the issue is on a laptop). Am I missing something or is it a system bug?
Align and Distribute does work, thanks a lot! However, it takes a bit longer than normal snapping. I am wondering why snapping works on my PC but doesn't work here. It's not that relevant though, as I use my laptop rarely.
Greetings,

Thanks in advance.
I'd ensure that snapping to object centers is active.
The Align and Distribute dialog can also center objects relative to each other.
Please refer to the manual for more info on snapping and alignment.

I usually advise against having all snaps enabled... Inkscape may get confused about which snap to use. Less can be better in this case.
I know, I just disable snaps when they are annoying and enable them back when needed (sorry for late response).
