Hi, I'm using the current version of Inkscape on my new Windows 11 laptop. I'm having another issue where when I want to adjust an object's clipping mask that I applied to it, I need to deselect everything, click it with the selection tool and then finally, the edit node tool in order to adjust the clipping mask. I do have the option to show the clipping mask under the node tool enabled, but when I click on an item with that tool, it is not showing up. This did not happen in the past version of Inkscape that I used on my old laptop. Is there a way to fix this?

Please share a screenshot of the entire Inkscape window with the clipped object selected and the node tool active.

Thank you, I can see and replicate the issue. I also can confirm the issue was not observed in version 0.92.5.
Feel free to report the issue on GitLab: https://inkscape.org/forums/beyond/how-to-report-bugs-or-request-new-features/
In the meantime, I'd switch to the select tool to re-select the clipped object, then switch back to the node tool. :-/
