Hello. I have started using Inkscape, but I experience an issue. When I try to write some text, the letters are very thick and big and they nearly merge together. I tried to change the font, the spacing between letters, the size of the text, I downloaded different versions but nothing happens. Is there any solution?
The problem is this: your text is coming out with an outline. To eliminate the outline, with the text selected, hold the Shift key and click the "X" in the lower left corner.
