Following a YouTube tutorial on basics... he has the Object Toolbar displayed, but I can't find this under View > Show/Hide etc.
How do I show/hide these "menu" toolbars?
He's also showing a "Stroke To Path" toolbox on RHS... don't know how to do that either! :(
Found Object > Fill and Stroke. Show Toolbar is still a prob.
The Objects dockable dialog can be found at Menu: Object>Objects. It's like the Layers dialog on steroids... use it wisely.
For more info on the entire program window, here is a good place to start: http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Anatomy.html
(NB the default view has the commands bar above the canvas.)

How can this dialog be found these days?
