Beginners' Questions How do I pattern fill a region?

    Basically the way paint bucket can fill a region with color I would like to do that except fill a region with a pattern.

    Any object can have pattern for fill or stroke.

    Fill a region with a pattern with the fill tool? Fill the region with the fill tool and any color then go to Fill and Color tab and change fill to Pattern.

    Bucket tool creates objects, which maybe filled.
