Beginners' Questions How can I copy, in position, form one page to another?

I'm a little confused about the multi-page tools.

At the moment to copy a page to another page is a little unintuitive...

    • I copy the entire contents of the last page of my document.
    • I click the page tool.
    • I click, add new page
    • I click "move before previous". This moves all the content form the 2nd last page to the new last page I just created.
    • I do a paste-in-place. This pastes into the 2nd page the contents back
    • I now have the last 2 pages of the document have identical content.

I have used this method to make my project, but now I want to copy something from, say, page 2, and past it into the last page, but have it paste in the exact same place relative to the page.

    How would I do this?

After copy or cut, I'd select the desired page using the navigation in the status bar, then  Edit>Paste... on Page.

Before pasting, you need to move focus to the destination page by selecting or moving a shape.

Thank you. i'll do this next time @Paddy_CAD. i read this late. i just manually copy/paste the grouped text in 17 pages that time. thank you again with the gif instructions.
