Using Inkscape with Other Programs EZ CAD middle part of image messed up from hatch

    So I am brand new to lasers. I am using EZ Cad with a fiber laser.

    Today was my first tests. I have an SVG file and am just guessing at settings. For now I set the lines at .08mm (not sure why but i did). I also tried .01 & .1 with no difference.

     

    But the middle of the image gets messed up and basically lasers the whole section flat (you can barely see through it  to what is actually supposed to be there. If I don't hatch it and just mark it, it doesn't do tha to the middle of the image but the result isn't exactly correct. 

    Someone told me to buy a program called lightburn. I kind of don't want to because I spent so long already trying to figure the ez cad out. 

    Any help is greatly appreciated and I am not sure if this is the right section to post this.
