So just realized you can make your own symbol sets. Then I realized that you can use the symbol sets to save gradients! Has anyone done this yet? Either way i've been looking for a project! Gradient Catalog here I come!
YES! Even better! Gradient and brush catalog! One question it didn't seem clear to me in the read me I found in the symbols folder. Can a symbol/brush be any size to work properly? I was just make squares of grants the same size as the included symbols.
@sketch_of_life Well, I haven't studied it in depth, but I just did a test with 2 gradients of very different sizes, I put them in the Symbols folder, used in a new file and it seems to work.
In my opinion, symbol sets are a very powerful tool for Inkscape that is under utilized.I couldn't function without them. I use them in Inkscape to create 3d models in Fusion 360. The workflow would be very difficult to do in Fusion 360 without Inkscape.

I think it's a great idea. In fact, I use it for my brushes.
