I have an SVG file with a basic company logo that I need edited into 2 files and I'm pulling my hair trying to do it! I'm not the least artistically inclined an am lost with this software. i was wondering if someone could help me out and do it for me. I build electric guitars and the need the file to print a water slide on the head stock.

I can try - but just in 4hs from now.
In case you want to try something there is:
ungrouping
Path->Break apart
You can select nodes with the nodes tool (N) then Edith->cut and then paste
to name a few possibilities.
