I am importing a PDF generated in a CAD program to make some improvements to line and text quality in Inkscape. However, vector patterns are imported at the wrong scale when using the internal import filter, namely, they are all scaled up by a factor of 2.835. Additionally, I am unable to fix the scale using the Fill and Stroke palette — if I set the scale manually to 1, nothing happens, and upon deselecting and reselecting the object, the scaling is back to 2.835. Scaling the pattern manually first using the handles on canvas and then going back to the palette to type the scale factor does work, but it is such a hassle to do it for every single pattern.
The main point is, why does Inkscape arbitrarily decide to scale PDF patterns to some random factor, when a scale factor of 1 would have been correct to begin with? I don't even see an option on the PDF conversion dialog box that I could tweak to make it work.

What are you trying to describe... the scale of the drawing or the line weights?
No, the overall drawings come in at the correct scale, as well as the line weights. It’s only the pattern fills that get imported at the wrong scale.
Please share an example Inkscape svg file that has this issue, maybe there is a workaround.
