Beyond the Basics Pattern Along Path is creating gaps

I'm using the Pattern Along Path (PAP) feature with repeated & stretched option on. After I convert object into path, I am getting lines through the pattern. They are not fusing properly -I could live with this issue if weren't for he fact that I will be using this vector for my fiber laser which may make a noticeable difference when engraving. Is there any way that I can set PAP to eliminate these lines?

If not fixable in PAP, are there any methods I can use after I convert into path that will break and then re-fuse the nodes up in one operation?

Given the size of the Pattern along the Path, manually breaking and re-fusing each and link is not really an option.

I suppose that you did check that all nodes are perfectly aligned at the edges of the pattern, where the next one will be apposed.

You could lessen the number of faulty areas by preparing a longer pattern. I use tiled clones with a tiny (-0,0001 mm) gap (y, there) so that they overlap, tick the option (not in front of my pc) that creates many objects, flatten, select all and unite them.

The glitching I see in your second screenshot concerns me. What version are you using? Transform behavior = preserved or optimized? Windows? OpenGL enabled?

    David248,

Thanks for the information and response. The geometry on the pattern is dead-on perfect. The cusp nodes are precisely where they should be. If I were to duplicate the pattern several times and snap the cusp nodes together like Lego in a straight line, then selection all and union... its flawless (no seam). Using Patterns along path is the only time I get the m seam... However, I found a solution. I just have to adjust the spacing by -0.01 (the least it can go). It creates the slightest of distortion in the appearance of the original shape... but very immaterial and no gaps.
