Inkscape allows to have multiple views of the same canvas, so that an icon artist can be accurate when editing shapes while getting a precise preview of how the artwork is going to look like at 1:1. Other notable features for icon design is the versatile grid and snapping tools, being able to have gradients on strokes, including RGBA gradient stops. This example also illustrates use of one-canvas workflow used by Tango artists now. |
